The mission of NAHAD is to promote a high standard of professionalism and integrity within the hose and accessories industry by providing a medium for communications, education and training, so that quality is maximised and profitability enhanced. NAHAD members include companies, worldwide, engaged in the distribution and manufacture of all types of hose, tubing, couplings, fittings, clamps and related accessories serving the industrial marketplace, as well as firms who offer services and products to the industry.

ISO 9001:2008 is the worlds most recognised quality certification standard. The standard specifies requirements for a quality management system for any organisation that needs to demonstrate its ability to supply products and services that consistently meet the customer and regulatory requirements whilst enhancing customer satisfaction.
The standard is broken down into five sections and is based on eight management principles:

JAS-ANZ is the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand responsible for providing accreditation of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in the fields of certification and inspection. Accreditation by JAS-ANZ demonstrates the competence and independence of these CABs.
The JAS-ANZ symbol is used by accredited conformity assessment bodies to indicate to prospective purchasers of their services that they meet the requirements of a national accreditation body.
The symbol is also used by organisations to further emphasise that their products, processes or services awarded an endorsed certificate have been provided by a body accredited by a peak national accreditation body.
The Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association, Inc. is an organisation of established manufacturers of metal bellows type expansion joints. EJMA was founded in 1955 to establish and maintain quality design and manufacturing standards. These Standards combine the knowledge and experience of the associations Technical Committee and are available to assist users, designers, and others in the selection and application of expansion joints for safe and reliable piping and vessel installation.
